Sixtieth Birthday Tour for Mike Graham
Sixtieth Birthday Tour for Mike GrahamMay 2011
To celebrate our good friend Mike Graham’s sixtieth birthday, we came up with the following itinerary for him and his family. Mike had travelled throughout Ireland in past trips, so we wanted to focus on what he hadn’t seen before and on experiences that you simply can’t do on your own, off the beaten track for a view of Ireland normally reserved for the locals.
Cost of a comparable tour with a minimum of four: $2,300 per person, with a minimum of six: $2,000 per person. Cost includes double occupancy in a four-star hotel with full Irish breakfasts, all transportation, and several dinners included.

Mike's Comments
"What an amazing time in Ireland! Within minutes of arriving in Sligo Dan, Debby, and Joe took us to a neighborhood pub where I found myself discussing rugby strategy (a sport I know nothing about!) with the locals. It was an amazing introduction to the week where we were taken "behind the scenes" to places and to meet people that showed us an Ireland so far off the normal tourist trail. We had an amazing dinner with an Irish family in a beautiful home overlooking Lough Gill; we had an evening of table tennis with the regulars and pints after; we hiked and toured amazing scenery. A highlight was our overnight on Inishmaan. We did a reading of Synge’s Riders to the Sea and then visited the cottage where Synge stayed and learned Irish from ancestors of the current owner.

In a nutshell: Unique Irish Tours orchestrated an unforgettable Irish experience for me and my family. I’m ready to go again!"
